Ministries
Family Ministry
⦁ Our Family Ministry Department plans our annual Birthday Luncheon where all of our members are able to celebrate one another's birthday with good food, fellowship and various cakes.
⦁ We also organize our annual church Christmas Party held the week prior to Christmas every year. We enjoy delicious food, fellowship and caroling.
⦁ We also plan and organize our weekly Wednesday Night Fellowship Meals. We plan a variety of home cooked meals at an affordable cost. Dinner is served from 5:30- 6:15pm every Wednesday. Weekly menus are posted on our Facebook page.
Sunday School
⦁ We offer 2 Adult Sunday School Classes, both start at 9am every Sunday.
⦁ Wednesday Night Bible Study
⦁ We offer an Adult Wednesday Night Bible Study in Hebrews Room starting at 6:30pm every Wednesday.
Bible Study is led by James Potter. Contact church office if you would like study materials.
Outreach Ministry
⦁ Elmwood West is heavily involved in the local Methodist Food Pantry. Some of our members volunteer on a daily basis, but our routine schedule is every Tuesday from 4-6pm. This is one of our largest Outreach Ministry Missions.
⦁ Elmwood West Methodist Church also hosts a quarterly Parent's Night Out for our local community, free of charge. We provide dinner, a movie, crafts, games, and activities for ages 4 years old- 5th grade. This event is hosted quarterly on a Saturday from 5:30- 8:00pm. Details are posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Prayer Ministry Team
⦁ Our Prayer Ministry Team meets every Tuesday at 1pm in our Prayer Room and prays over the prayer requests submitted for the week as well as others.
